A Silly Question

If i put a 16 valve head on my D15b6, is it really going to do anything for me? I can't afford a swap yet, my buddy is upgrading to a b16, so he'll have some parts sitting around. Just wondering if swapping the heads is worth it for now until i have some money.

Nope, just an A6 head.

I'd say dont mess with your 8 valve gas saver, which im assuming is in a crx HF? Gas is like 3.30 a gallon so just take advantage of your HF's 50 or so mpg until you can afford a decent swap. You might run into shit like timing belt fitment and head gasket issues while mating the A6 head. Just keep your d15b6 running the way it is, which im assuming is healthy?

Yup an HF, it runs pretty strong besides some small oil leaks. Gas is only $2.80 up here yet.

you can't put a 16 valve head on a hf bottom end. if you do you'll end up mashing the piston into the valves, since they only have the indentation for 2 valves in each cylinder.
