Hi fellas! Here's a sneak preview of my latest project. The ground effects were scratch-built, as will be the intercooler. The wheels are 19" but I haven't decided which set to use nor do I have any idea what color to paint it. It will have a carbon-fiber hood and rear spoiler though.

Hey, cool someone's working on a Skyline R33 too.
Hey Tonioseven, let's see who can pull a Pman and get there's done in less than a week! The kit that I started is the Skyline GTS 25t Type M from Aoshima ( Its no R33 GTR, but looks very similar without the groundeffects on the body and minus the 4 wheel drive).
I have the suspension lowered and decided on which wheels to use.
I already got the body painted also. Hope to see yours done real soon!

If it were real, I'd want it to scrape up road reflectors! I'm thinking Acura Citrus Silver or Alclad Deep Blue-to UV Flip-flop. I'm gonna use the darker 19" wheels.

Hi guys! My pictures are taken with a cheap camera but here they are. I have a carbon fiber hood and rear spoiler element but they don't show up well on the Tamiya Gunmetal paint. The wheels of choice right now are Nismo LM GT-1s. Still working on the interior; just received my Studio27 seat belt kit. Base kit was the Tommy kaira R from Fujimi. I'm kinda proud of my home-made ground effects kit. Thanks to Flyonthewall for the intercooler thread! Am now working on one since I opened up the front grill and removed the ugly molded-in intercooler; will cover the openings with fine mesh screen. Comments are welcome! http://files.automotiveforums.com/uploads/519835project2pic.jpg http://files.automotiveforums.com/uploads/822518project3pic.jpg http://files.automotiveforums.com/uploads/971974project4pic.jpg http://files.automotiveforums.com/uploads/492529project5pic.jpg http://files.automotiveforums.com/uploads/242920project6pic.jpg

I love it! Cant wait to see this one finished. Where are the manufacturer logo's from?

tonioseven
08-15-2002, 08:14 AM
Thanks fellas! The logos are from the HKS Subaru Impreza kit and from different Aoshima wheel sets. I'll get some front and rear shots posted later today:) Do you guys think those wheels are alright? What color seat belt should I use, red or blue? The logos on the car are from: Blitz, Apex, HKS, Project u, Super TL(exhaust people) and Recaro.

Looks very nice! Looks like your paint came out very good aswell. Nice big rims on the back, nearly make it look like it has deepdishs on it! I've nearly finished my HKS Kansai R32, but it don't look anywhere near this good.
