Just have your LHS order you some. You won't regret it. It's all I use...aren't your models worth the best?

I need a Paint companys primer thats compatible with tamiya rattle cans.
I use Gunze's Mr. Surfacer 500/1200 grit (both grey) and if I need a white base I spray TS-26 or whatever TS-white that is handy. I like to use Mr. Surfacer because it is a sandable primer. Just give the primer enough time to cure before you paint your color (that goes for all brand of paint).
Strangely though, I tried mixing TS-29 into some Mr. Surfacer to darken the paint a while ago... didn't work... looked like grounded pepper in some wierd grey soup :shakehead so... don't do it lol.

I have used many different primers with Tamiya paints with no ill-effects. Usually I use Model Master white primer since it's relatively cheap. I've actually had better results with it than Tamiya primer. It goes on smoother.

I've used Model Masters new laquer white primer and it pretty good. dries fast and sands nicely. work well with Tamiya laquers
