Removing DIC and Climate Control

My Aurora DIC and Climate Controls work and sometime they don't. When they don't the climate control system is on automatic, so it is bearable.

Checked all the fuses, and they look ok. Now I want to remove the modules and check the connectors and wiring. I removed the bezel around the radio, and the two screws on the bottom of the climate control module. I tried to pull out the climate control module and it would not move.

What am I missing? Any other thoughts to fixing the problem?
