98 shift point adjustment

I have 3, 1997 -2.0 SOHC 4dr. automatics that have a cable from the tranny to the throttle body linkage that if adjusted, it changes the shift point. On my 98, 2.0 SOHC it doesnt have the cable. Does anyone know how to make it take longer to shift, cause its shift from 2nd to 3rd too fast & then going into OD at 30 to 40 mph. It also wont down shift soon enough when climbing a hill.
