I was wondering what experiences you guys all had with injectors. What is the biggest sized injector i can run with a 190 fuel pump and an AEM fuel pressure regulator ? I am running 550cc now which will not be enough for my new turbo. I would really hate to change out my fuel pump again.

If you have the 190 you didn't really need to buy the fpr. But now that you have it you might as well go to a 255. You gotta tell us what turbo you have in now and what turbo you want to run so we know how much it flows. The fuel pump and injectors are somewhat independent of eachother. I just installed 550's in my car today with a evo 16g and 190 and Im not planning on modifying my fuel system ever again (my hp goals are around 300whp).

What are you running for a tuning system? On an AFC you shouldnt go above 650s and thats pushing it but with link or a standalone might as well get the biggest you can

660's will do fine for your 16g. Since you have dsm link I would recommend you just buy like 1000's becauseyou can control them and well you never know what you might want in the future.

720s would be a little better, but your right might as well go big

I like FICs, so I always recomend going right to 950s with DSMlink. As mentioned in the first reply, injectors and pump are unrelated. The 190 does require a regulator if you really want fuel pressure to be accurate with the hose on, contrary to popular belief. To be honest, I didn't notice that the 190 was a problem until DSMlink came out though ;) Joe G on the POSr site has a 190 and a fuel pressure guage. We can't get fuel pressure below 43 psi with the hose on. He's installing a FPR this week ;)
The suggestion to upgrade to a 255HP now that you have a reg is a good one. The 190 barely supports an evo 16g. With a stroker you are likely to max it out easily, making a 255HP a good choice, and a wise investment for when you upgrade the turbo.

thanx alot for all of your help guys... it was extremely helpful ... i have another question though. Will EVO injectors fit into 2g's ? If so , why are same size EVO injectors cheaper than the ones for 2g's ? Thanks

I've been looking at the FIC/RC injectors for myself. I've noticed the FIC's 1000cc's come with both insulators and O-ring seals and are about $30 cheaper the RC. No matter what, make sure you have 4 o-ring seals and 4 injector insulators. Evo injectors are 560's and will fit perfectly into the dsm fuel rail.

All evidence points to EVO injectors being 580s, but whatever :) IIRC, evo injectors will fit a DSM, but DSM injectors won't fit an EVO.
