Is Tamiya 10005 Subaru R2SS Any good?

I saw this on sale at a very low price - I never knew it exsisted, the scale of 1:18 sounds quite odd for Tamiya.

I'm not really familiar with this car, but was wondering if the big scale means there's more details in this kit? Is it a very old release?

It's pretty old. The 1/18 motorized line predates the 1/24 line.

The only place I've ever seen it is on Y!Japan auctions...
