Concorde hub cap removal

Does anyone know how to remove the hubcaps on a '93 Concorde. There is a steel wire ring attached to the rear of the plastic hubcap. Looks like it should pull off, but it is tight and feels like the hubcap will crack before it gives way. There must be an easier way that I'm just not seeing. Any advise?

You could check at a Chrysler dealer or maybe a place like we have here in my home town that is called hubcap haven. They have any kind of hubcaps. There may be something like that in your area.
Does the lug nuts hold the hub cap on? My daughters 2000 concord has this kind of hubcap. Two of the holes does not have a backing. Not sure what the purpose of that. If yours is like that it may be that you are not pulling hard enough. Or it may be that is some kind of lock.
