to the Trailblazer. As you know, my sister has an '02 TB that she bought used, we can not find the part needed to lower her spare tire - I'm guessing it's a crank type set-up?
Can you post a pic of the part she's obviously missing out of her TB. I don't have anything around that will lower it, and we can't check the air pressure as some idiot mounted the tire stem-side up. :banghead:

Yep it sure is. It's the same crank setup that the under-mount spare tire rodeos have. All the gear should be mounted under the pass side rear seat pan. For the tire winch, it's just a slotted type receiver. A long flat bladed screw driver will suffice. If she's never had the spare down, the winch is probably seized up. Very common occurance on these setups. If that's the case, the cable has to be cut at the wheel hub and the winch unit can be removed and replaced.

Thanks a bunch! Don't have the crank set-up on my Rodeo, it's on the tailgate. In fact, her TB is the first crank-set up I've dealt with - thanks!
