question on rims

i was looking at getting a new set of rims and was wandering what kind of weight per rim would be ideal. the ones im looking at weigh 26lbs each. is that anywhere near the weight of a stock rim. just curious. thanks

another question, how wide should/can i go with an 18x8.5 rim, and what series of tires do you guys think would look best. 50 series or 45? i want to fill up the wheel well, but dont wont them to rub. thanks for your time.

unless you dropped your car,50's would work.. and 45's would probably look nicer if the car was dropped.. but then again, it might rub + be hell on the car?
