Overfilled Transaxle

Call me a dumb a** if you want, but I changed the transaxle filter yesterday on my 03 malibu and when I was done I added 10 quarts of dextron 3 because the manual says that capacity is like 9.7. Anyway I got to thinking about it this morning and realized that I had to of overfilled it because of the amount left in the torque converter. Now I have driven it 75 miles since I changed the fileter, but my question is how much damage could I have done by overfilling it and driving this distance? It is shifted fine when I drove it, but should I be expecting the worst?

Well it probably did not cause any more damage than one of them quick lube flushes. They do things like that to. Just kidding.
Just drain it back to normal and keep a eye on it.
Always check fluid level after driving 15-20 minutes. The hotter it gets the lower the fluid level goes.
Good luck MT
