86 cierra electrical problem

When I go out in the morning to start the car, It tries to start as if the battery was low on juice. It finally starts but if I turn the car off I most often have to jump the car to get it started. The battery is fully charged and the alternater is good. Could this be a cable or starter problem? I'm lost. Thanks
