Hello everyone, I am new to here, so nice to meet all of you.
I have a 1995/Dec 323 automatic, I am not sure whether the amount of fuel it uses is at correct level. Everytime I put about 45 litres petrol and start the counter, it goes to "E" when the counter is at around 380-400km.
However I have been to a website called www.redbook.com.au and read about my car, it says the fuel consumption would be like 8.5L/100km urban, 6.8L/100km extra urban...so if stick to these data, 45litres should be able to run about 520km...

Thank you very much^^

It seems to be using more than normal. Your driving habits can affect fuel use. Also the engine condition, items like a dirty air filter and worn spark plugs can increase fuel consumption.

CliftonI just changed some new spark plugs recently, and I drive quite economically...I mean I start the car slowly, avoiding fully step on the gas pedal...but just one thing, my car sometimes feel like no power, especially when I first started my car after a long period of time, let say overnight...and when at the next day I leave home by turning left into the main road, even I fully step on the gas pedal, it gives me no accerelation (keep at the speed of D gear) until like 3-4 seconds later...Would this have anything to do with the fuel deliver to the engine from the tank?
I guess if this problem is solved, it might also solve the fuel problem. Thx^^

If you have a fuel delivery problem car would run rough and most likely die on you while idling. You might want to use some Injector cleaning fluid and change an air filter. This might do the trick.
