Do you mean this stuff -
http://www.hlj.com/product/GNZB-513
I've just had some sent from HLJ, and I'm about to test it out, wondering if its safe on decals.... I'm told it dries fast, and very glossy... But I've yet to try it out.
Lets hope someone can post examples of it, as I'm wondering what it can do, but I'm more interested in if it's safe over decals..

I've been told it's an enamel; but it smells pretty strong. I haven't been able to compare it to others in final gloss. One of my friends has about 8 cans of it, I guess I should snag one and try it out. As for safety over decals, I'd be wary of it as I would any clear enamel or lacquer, since the chemical smell seems to tell me it's a strong clear.
Gunze B-501 Mr. Topcoat clear is very safe over decals. In some respects it's my favorite clear; it dries very glossy, it dries incredibly fast, and it's a very durable/slick finish, feels like teflon. It buffs out like other clears. And it's relatively safe over decals. I say relatively because I have had some decals crack slightly when clearcoating w/this; but in both cases I clearcoated over the decals before the paint underneath and the decals had fully cured. The cracking was from the decals shrinking slightly under the clear. They did not melt/wrinkle at all; Mr. Topcoat is a water-soluble (while wet) clear acrylic w/o the chemicals that will eat decals.
This model was painted w/lacquers and clearcoated w/B-501 clear:

ZoomZoom,
Thanks.... www.hiroboy.com has that clear coat (both in fact) in stock, so ordered the water based one. Small cans, so I got a few of them. Not cheap, but if it works like what you've got, worth the money...

In my opinion, like any Gunze product, this one beats tamiya by far. I don't think tamiya has a product, neither it's acrylic line, or less the lacquer line that can face the gunzes. I don't mean that the Tamiya it's a bad one, but the results I have seen with the Gunze for me are much better. Like had said other modelers here, the fumes from this product are ver strong, but, like with any other paint, a respirator should be on hand. I shoot it over decals with complete confidence.
I had found that the gunze spray valves are among the best, if not the best, but, if you prefer decant it and shoot it through an airbrush to spray it in thinn coats. I use the Super Clear II CL-184 with a couple of drops of Gunze Mr. Retarder Mild. Remember it dries real fast and with this retarder you can even help the paint to dry slowly and avoid the common orange peel modelers problem.
I sending here a couple of models that I had painted with the gunze paints and clear, or just with the Clear.
