Is a 1990-1992 300zx a reliable daily driver?

I currently have a 1991 Nissan 240sx, I love that car but, I would like a more powerful car. My 240 is a very reiable car, I drive 50k(kilometers) a day. I am looking at the 1990-1992 300zx NA model. I was just wondering how they fair for daily driving? Thanks for any input.

They are really good....
unless it rains.
:(
But if you get an auto it may take some of that wheel spin out.
to easy for me to spin them w/ 5spd.

I have heard horror stories about their reliability, and then again I have heard lots of good things too...
I guess it all comes down to wether you can afford the high maintenance costs, and how well you take care of your car... And make sure if the Z is over 60k miles (I imagine most of them are) that they did the 60k mileage tune up thing... I guess its expensive if they didn't...
Thats just about all I know about the Z32 300zx's... I bet NissanSpdr would know a lot more about all that stuff...

The NA should be just as reliable as any other car. It all comes down to how the previous owner treated the car.

What yospeed says is true...
It all depends on a case by case basis...each car has been treated differently...and depending upon how you care/treat it is a large part of how it will treat you.
But on the whole...the NA Z32's are very very reliable and usually (note USUALLY) will outlast and be more reliable than the Z32 TT's
