I just got a used 2000 Plymouth Grand Voyager SE today. It's a really great car. But I have one question. How do you fold down the second row seat on the Voyager. It dosen't state anything about the folding down the second row seat in the manual. But please help becuase I'm getting a sheets of plywood and need to fold down the seats.

A fold down second seat was an option. Some fold some don't. You should probably remove the seats completely to carry the lumber.

I read and read the manual, and I still can't take out the seats? I realy don't know how. Plus it's pretty stupid to have non folding 2nd row seats, because even my old 1990 Trans Sport SE had this option.

There are release handles at he bottom rear on each side. Grab the handles at the top, push up on the release button that is on the inside of the top of the handles, and move the handles toward the floor. That releases the seat.
I am not sure whether the non-folding seat was all you got on the Plymouth, or if you could pay extra for a folding seat. (They had to make the Dodge worth more money than the Plymouth.)
My Voyager came with a non-folding seat, and I bought a folding seat on eBay for very little money (although shipping can be pretty expensive.)

Thank you jagplates, you've really helped a lot. The seats were really heavy to remove, but I had to remove them again because, I got some unwanted funiture from my wife's co-worker, because she was moving. Thanks a lot! I look to be learning a whole lot about my voyager for the near future.:naughty:

hmm.. you made fun of me buying a beater voyager to drive and forth to work. At least I can figure out how to fold/ unfold/ remove the seats in a voyager.

I just got a Voyager, not to drive back and forth to work, but to go on family vacations. I've only owned it for 3 days, and I already learned a lot. How long did you own your Voyager?
