Check this Ebay FMIC kit..

I just graduated and have some extra money so i decided to look at getting a front mount intercooler. I found this kit on ebay and it has couplers, hoseclamps, and a 1g flange, it all comes together so would this be a good buy?

Interesting... It seems like a pretty decent buy to include everything like that.

looks very nice for any 16g or smaller turbo. If you don't plan on upgrading any turbo soon, I suggest it. I'm not a fan of that piping route though, it's very long. I do like how he was honest about everything.

Expect around 150 to install it, speed shops make a killing on installing easy things like this because it looks harder than it is.

does the intercooler look like a quality one, and they have some negative feedback that makes me shaky about it

actually now that I look at it over the past month 10% of their sales have gone bad. I take what I said earlier back, stay awawy.

Mind if I ask you your budget for this fmic setup? I'll see what I can find.

Try looking for the kit me and several other members on here got. They go on ebay for $350 and are really good quality. It was from ssautochrome and it has the shortest possible piping.

Yeah I paid 500 bux for my Big SBR FMIC from a local guy...200 miles on it and its the short route piping.

you can do better than the eBay one, especially with his negative feedback.

I wouldnt pay $375 plus $150 for that intercooler. Thats a rip off! You could probably make your own set up with a ebay core and piping for less then $300 or so. You can also go with the group buy that they have on dsmtuners.com. It comes with everything you need. And best of all its only $295 shipped. I'm pretty sure they still have the deal going. So just read through the big ass thread and see if you like it.

I agree, that first kit had a pretty small core and long route piping, I would stay away.

Can anyone pick me out an intercooler and everything else like piping and stuff to go with it for a good price? I just want everything to be there together to make it easier and no niggerrigging it together... and with a 1g bov flange

Do you have aftermarket upper intercooler pipes? Are you willing to fab up some of your own piping? or are you looking for a kit that you can just bolt up?

I have all stock IC piping so a full bolt on kit that fits good is what im looking for.

Yeah that kit looks very interesting. I would like to see what the kit for a Eclipse would really look like.

That BOV is a ebay knock off. I dont have experiance with them so I cant really say if there good or not, but I have heard they leak pretty bad. And yes im pretty sure it vents.
