Hey Guys. My brother owns my old :( 92 Eagle talon 2.0L Non-Turbo 5spd Here is a little bit of background on what has been goin on.

He was driving the car and the CEL came on, but the car ran fine. But when he shut the car off it wouldn't start. But if you left the car for an hour or so it would fire back up like nothing happened. So after a few days of this he takes it to a shop. They test it and when it didn't start the Fuel Pump wasn't turning on (couldn't hear it when key turned on and no fuel pressure) they scanned the ECU and it said the filter in the air filter. so the Changed that, and they changed the fuel pump and apparently put in an ECU from a talon that was working perfectly to make sure that wasn't the problem. (this was on Saturday)

Car ran great... untill yesterday. On his way to work the car just died in mid shift, so he had to walk the rest of the way to work and came back at lunch, car started back up and he drove it to work. After work, driving home, made it approx 2 blocks and it quit.. let it sit for a few hours and when u turn the key still can't hear the fuel pump start up and it just sits there and cranks and cranks....

I was looking for the fuel pump relay, thinking that possibly this could be the culprate but no luck because I don't have the haynes manual..... I pulled codes outta the comp and got the 22 and 23 code - Crankshaft Position Sensor and Camshaft Position Sensor. Haven't changed that yet. but I was wondering if that would cause the fuel pump to not want to start, and if so why would both sensors go at the same time. Been pulling my hair out about this for the last few days, ever since it started acting up.

Is there any real procedure to changing these sensors? or do I just unbolt them from my spare engine and slap it on the one in the car? and if you could give me a heads up on where the fuel pump relay is that would be awsome.

Thanx alot guys.

Well guys. I think I found the problem. I put in a used cam sensor from his parts engine and everything seems to work as normal. The computer now only reads crankshaft position sensor, but it's running normally it seems so hopefully it's nothin Major. Anyone know what that sensor does exactly? would it be a possible cause for the mean idle surge it has? Well by any note hopefully this helps anyone with the similar problem :)

Thanx for any input
