I know this might sound dumb but do they make roll pans that work the square hitch I have already????

Nope......
Roll Pan requires hidden hitch behind the roll pan and also a spare tire relocator.....
Thus $$$$$$ ==> SSMMMOOOOOTTTHHHH looking ride (If done right)

thats what stops me from getting one, because i need my hitch and i dont have the money to buy the pan then get it painted and after that have to buy a hitch too.

If you're going to get a roll pan I strongly recommend steel. Sir Michaels.

Hey sportin 83, did you repaint the chrome piece on your front grille? I have been doing some painting on an old truck, and now I want to paint everything in sight. What other parts did you paint to match? Did you just remove the chrome and repaint?
Please explain..
Thanks!!

:1: I am all with you on that. It is worth the time and money as the others will flex and flap while driving......:puke: And then after you catch something on the pan it will rip if it not steel.:nono: :banghead:

Hanibal,
There are 2 ways to go about painting the grille. Use the etching primer as normal primer will not stick to the chrome.
The best thing to do is go to the junkyard and get an unpainted grille from a work truck and do all the painting as you want it. Even with etching primer if a rock hits hard enough you will still have paint chip off and show chrome. I found out on my '01 after I had the chrome painted pewter. My bumper was also done the same way and it showed chips also.:2cents:
Good Luck:smokin:

well i painted my grill, door handles and tailgate handle and started mirrors, got 1 done last fall and never have done the other yet. been lazy!!!! i sanded the chrome off until i got to the plastic under it, best thing to use would be a small vibratiing sander, by hand takes a while. then i got color matched paint from auto parts store and painted and clear coated them.
Please explain..
Thanks!!

i think that pan is for the hidden hitch though. because the factory hitch sits to low for is to fit in the roll pan.

I belive this is kinda an old post, but what the heck, might as well give it a shot. I have never seen a kit for a roll pan that will use your factory or aftermarket hitch, unless it is a "hidden" hitch. You can get a hidden hitch for the rollpans though. You will also need a spare tire relocator as said above. Sir Micheals makes great products. However, for the people whos pockets arent that deep....chassistech makes great products that are easy on the wallet. I have both the Chassistech rollpan and Chassistech hidden hitch (as well as the lowering kit) on my '04. I still need to get the spare tire relocator, but have kinda moved on to other projects and it isnt that big of a necessity at the moment. You can check out some picks at http://www.carstereo.com/installs/photo_gallery_album.cfm?home=yes&photoid=41415&galleryid=2862 if you would like.
