i have a 1997 grand cherokee with the 5.2L v8... i have a few problems

1) probably the biggest problem, it idles really really really rough.. it will start to spudder and shake then the rpm will start to fall to about 100-250 and right before it dies it revs up to about 1500 rpms. it does this all the time.. at stop lights, in the morning, after driving for a while. i had 2 oxygen sensors replaced but that didnt help at all. Sometimes when i start the car ill get a flashing check engine light and it says 35, 51, 21 and i think 17 and 33. it only does this about once a month so i dont know the numbers off the top of my head.

2) most likely has alot to do with the first problem, when i accelerate it will start off somewhat smoothly then start violently jerking. when i press down the accelerator it the rpms usually drop and the car goes nowhere and makes a loud clanking noise like someone is banging on it with a hammer. but when i put the pedal all the way to floor it takes off like a bat outta hell. pretty much the only way i can get around is if im constanly putting the pedal to the floor. it usually does this for about a week then runs fine for 3 weeks. the check engine light comes on as soon as it starts and goes off when it stops.

3) not such a big problem, when im driving up a big hill or pulling a trailer my a/c or my heater will switch to defrost by itself. when i let off the gas it switches back to normal

4) not sure how big of a problem it is, My oil pressure gauge will occasionally drop to 0 psi when i come to a stop, then go back to normal when i get going again or when i shift it into nuetral. ive been told it might be a loose connection on my oil pressure sending unitbut ive checked them and their fine

if anyone could give me any idea about is going on that would be greatly appriciated

This is a vacuum problem. Check the vacuum hoses under the hood - when mine did this awhile back the hose had actually popped off.
