just got it this past saturday. 93 RS base model with basically manual everything except auto belts [annoying, but I'll deal with it..after all we got it for 300 under kbb].
totally stock. been repainted from prior accidents (mostly parking), clean title.
the civic's big brother.

interior is freaking clean for a 13 year old car..

1st owner snapped the antenna off and replaced it with an ugly walkie-talkie looking one...and it swings all over the place and scratches the paint. I'm afraid of replacing it cause they might have bored the hole bigger...but yeah here it is.

haha from the Sports Chalet thing? it actually says "i'd rather be skiing" <love it.
i noticed that the clutch feels completely different than the civic..for mine at least, it engages a lot quicker than my civic's and the friction point is a few inches from all the way pushed in..so I dont roll back a down a hill anymore! and the throttle response is not as sensitive..but I find it forgiving in mis timed shifts cause the throttle is so "soft".

Nice car, man.
Ask Hybrid about how to disable the auto seatbelt thing. Supposedly, there is a relay or something down by the ecu that you can just unplug once the belts are in the locked position. Then I guess you'd just unbutton them from the locked in place lock when you want to release it.

very nice. kinda wish I got a red one. but i got mine for 1900 with a bunch of extra stuff and fresh paint so i couldnt pass up that deal. and mine has power everything. i just did a black interior swap into mine since it came with tan.
if you dont like the auto belts, you can unplug the seatbelt controller behind the passengerside kick panel, just make sure you do it when the belts are back.

hmm i was reading through the owners manual, and there seems to be fuses that are linked to the belt motors (one for the right and one for the left)...cant I just unplug those? (and there are holes by the back seats where you can manually crank the belts should they fail.)
You got a real good deal, but you live around New Jersey(?). this is a so cal car so there's virtually no rust. Got mine for 2200 (owner asked for 2500). (kbb has it for 2640 in good cond)...lol and mine doesnt come with anything at all except an ugly and skipping (over bumps) jvc cd-player.
but overall..DA 'tegs are basically awesome.

i'm a real big fan of the clean stock look. very few mods, if any. The reason being is cause there's barely any DA 'teg left un-molested.

my car has pretty much no rust either. its a very solid car. im pretty sure theirs not a place to manually crankt he windows. and about the fuses I dunno, might cause a beeping to come from the seatbelt controller, thats why you just unplug the controller all together.

ah, but there is a place to crank your belts...but referring to your statement word for word, my rs has manual windows so yes it does. Look at the interior plastic behind the driver's seat, up against the rear windows. There is a rectangle panel that you can pry off to get to a hole where you insert a tool (i dont know if its a proprietary crank...meaning you need to go to honda and buy the tool. I havent looked at it as of typing this.) to crank it. I dont know...maybe its only on '93 models.
here, i'll post up pics of the manual as well as the panels I'm talking about. (going to take pics)

panel off.. i didnt get a good look at it, cause I was there just to take pics. I dont think its a hex...(might be proprietary..you can look for yourself)\

Its all in the manual, bro. Its not your fault if you dont know...
hmm toolbag..could it be with the tools for a spare tire? (not being sarcastic)

OHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. lol for some reason I thought you meant crank the belt itself, not the slider LOL I have no idea what I was thinking. And after reading my last post, I must have been drunk or very tired, I have no idea why I said anything about cranking the windows. My buddy has a rs as well, I almost like that body style better just cause its the ligthest.
Anyway, yeah my car has that too.
