My 2003 suburban with 58k I am getting a servioce airbag indicator light and on the display. What kind of service can you do to a airbag(s) that have never been used?

It must be scanned with a sirs capable scanner, there a many components in the system and the codes must be read first.

Thanks for the quick response. I had it scanned and it gave me a B0044, and in the history a U1000?

Again thanks for any help
