Did you make the trip yet? I just pulled a 6x12 from California to Michigan with about 3500 or more lbs in it. I used my 02 Overland with the 4.7 HO V8. Power was no problem, but noticed a weaving problem mostly on slight downgrades over 55-60MPH. Will scare the crap out of you if it starts while nedt to a semi or lots of traffic. Braking wasn't to bad but plan your stops and down shift to help take pressure off the brakes.

Good luck

I recently pulled the same enclosed u-haul 6X12 from charlotte n.c. to columbus,ohio.... I had no problems pulling at all. I didnt have to down shift either to help the brakes because the trailer had a surge break that worked very well....All in all it was a great trip... Took me about 45 minutes longer than usual and cost twice the amout of gas, but my Jeep didnt struggle at all even in the West Virginia turnpike....Just keep it in drive....

Oh yeah...Forgot the part about turning off the overdrive which is recommended by all mfgrs.
