ok so i went to the honda dealer to make an appointment to have my SRS light turned out, which the last time a guy told me they would hook it up to a computer for 36 dollars and attempt to turn it out, if it didnt work then the computer would tell me whats wrong and then we could figure out how much it would be to cost. so this time the guy was like, a different guy, said it was gonna get real exsensive, he said there is no computer involved, he said to disconnect the batter for 30 mins, and that would reset the light, if that didnt work then there is more problems. i think the 2nd guy is BS'ing me, can anyone give me some info on this if you have any. thanks untill then, i guess i should try to disconnect and see what happens, but i know it wont work:banghead:

Did you check the SRS relay? That might be your problem. Try disconnecting the battery like the mechanic said, it might not do anything, but it wont hurt to try it.

Do a thread search, I posted somewhere on how to reset the light at home with no $$ needed. I know it works on 1992-1999 civics. If you can't find the thread send me a message and i'll reply with the instructions again.
