Fantastic build of 1 of my all time favorite cars, your paint is flawless, the detail is again amazing, remember seeing one of these cars at the Goodwood festival a few years back, it sounded as good as this build looks!!

I agree, it's gorgeous. In fact if someone said you had built this model I would have believed it.

Dave5.0 > any pics of the engine? The model is a curbside version, there are no mechanical components.

Hi
Stunning model as always!! I really like this car, I must say.
BUT - it would please me a lot if you would take the time to write something about your projects, it's a lot more interesting that way. Write what kit it is, what modifications has been done, any problems mounting the parts, any tricks of your own invested in the project? I think it is that kind of stuff that makes it REALLY interesting. It's lovely pictures of stunning models, don't you dare get me wrong on that part, I've been dropping my jaw at every post. But as we all know you are a master builder you could share some of that magic touch of yours by telling something extra regarding the builds.

what is your preferred method of painting? The finish's always look so thin and perfectly polished! Laquer? What do you prime with? Airbrush type?

I would be lucky to get paint jobs 1/2 as good!

Beautiful build as usual Alessandro, do you have a website for your builds? I looked on the net but didn't see much. I would love to look at all of your work.

Because of ModelerSite I downloaded your cut Enzo and Testarossa so that I can try them too. Great works!

Stunning! A work of art!

The wheels look like real alloy, what do you use to paint them? is it Alclad or are they actually metal rims?

First of all, thanks again for the kind comments, then

Raikkobin > [what is your preferred method of painting? The finish's always look so thin and perfectly polished! Laquer? What do you prime with? Airbrush type?]
Since a few years I’m using automotive products (Lechler or PPG) laquer for the colors and epoxy for the clearcoats. The primer is an automotive one. All sprayed with a normal air gun. I have to mention I always sand carefully each layer sprayed with #2000 grit, except the clearcoat, simply polished (Arexons scratch remover, Amway Glaze and Tamiya Wax)

Enzoenvy1 > [do you have a website for your builds?]
No, sorry I do not have a personal website.

Viccario > [The wheels look like real alloy, what do you use to paint them? is it Alclad or are they actually metal rims?]
Wheels and tires come from the Tamiya Porsche GT2. On all the rims I have wrapped around a strip of styrene to increase their diameter. Then the central portion is a mix of Humbrol Copper + Gold while the rims have been sprayed with Alclad Chrome.

Greetings to all of you !!!

Alessandro
