lots. can't really give an estimate. could be between 15-30k. i dont know, haven't tried yet.
turbos aren't easy to tune with carburettors, you really need fuel injection.

i meant not big123 again, don't you remember him posting all of his "can you get this car to 1000hp" "can you get this other car to 1000hp" and the verdict was you can get any car to 1000hp so stop asking, you're never going to do it
search 1000hp and you'll find tonnes of threads started by him

cause i'm not mexican.
anyways you can have a turbocharger and a carburated engine but it's a big hassle and it's really tough to tune. you'll get way better results out of a fuel injected turbo setup. as for 1000 horsepower, turbocharger, 14lbs of boost, nitrous, rebuild engine to be stronger, fuel injection, you're there. or you can go supercharger and nitrous and you won't need the fuel injection.

So I can chose to get it fuel injected and change it from it's carb. Or I can go super charger and get there?
and in those cars the speedo only went up to like 140 do you need a navagation system to show you how fast ur goin past 140 mph?

if you want to use a turbocharger you CAN do it carbed but it's difficult, i'd suggest fuel injection. it's much easier to tune a supercharger than a turbocharger on a carbed car. either way it doesn't matter, do whatever you want
you can get a new speedometer and get it to read higher and tune it for your gearing, wheel size, etc. or you can get a gps to read how fast you're going.

Yes so I should change the carbed to fuel injected and have 2 big turbo's and get there.
P.S. I lookin at 15K?

you're looking at about 5-10k for fuel injection, i don't know because i've never seen anyone do it but you could probably found people who have, then 4-5k for the turbo system. then probably another 1-2k for nitrous. that's not including rebuilding. that will be expensive, people who know more about that stuff can comment but it'll run you a few thousand to get that engine build for a turbocharger with decreased compression, forged internals, etc.

any time you are talking about HP and money, its more a question of your skill, availible tools and ability.
If you farmed everything out and played it safe, you'd be looking at least 30K.
If you were frugal, dangerous and skilled....about 3K :icon16:
and there is absolutely nothing wrong with carbs and turbo's. There's more 8 second 1/4 mile cars than you can shake a stick at with blown carb engines. If you don't want to do the research and trials, you can buy a ready-to-go carb for your application from CSU. What you can't do yourself, there is always someone out there that will happily do it for you if you pay them

damn.....i thought he got permanently banned, you don't need to mod every car you think of to 1000hp....you can tackle other problems to make the performace close or even better with lower horsepower

And if you start another thread with our doing a little of your own resurch first, and asking realistic better defined questions I will ban you. Once for every hp you so ignorantly lust after.
