Well since the eclipse is going to be in storage a while, I picked up a pimp'in 1989 Mazda 626 LX. THe car only cost me $800. I will try and get some photo's for you guys before the day is through.

Back before I had my license I was about to buy one from a friend for like $500...had sunroof, 5-spd and everything. I should have bought it just so i could abuse it, lol. Have fun.

yeah this one is a 5-speed, working sunroof, PW,PL, a/c works. Somebody attempted to put a fart can muffler onto the stock exhaust so it rattles little bit. I am going to try and get that fixed today, along with a couple other little things. for $800 I just hope it will run the rest of the year.

Reminds me of when I got my little 89 Toyota Tercel EZ, it was a little 1.5L 4 speed, no sunroof but still alot of fun I only paid $350 for it and it lasted me over a year and all I had to replace is the Clutch master cylinder and the brakes. I ended up selling the car for $250.

In my stats book, they got the best gas milage. Not sure how right that is, but IIRC they are something rediculous like 26-28 city then like 35-38 highway.

I havn't filled it up yet, but I drove about 250 miles and its showing just under half a tank so we will see. I just need it to last me untill January. If it can go that long or longer I'm golden. ;)
