so far i cant find much aftermarket for my '01 b15 sr20 2.0L sentra. most of everything has to be custom. i got a pop charger so far and nothin else. ik that hotshot has a nice header for it. i cant seem to find a decent cat back exhaust for it. im wondering if im going to have to go custom or if there is a company that i am looking over possibly??? btw, does the muffler brand matter as long as its not a huge ones taht is over 2 1/2 inlet and is a straight through design? thanks in advance. just want to know if i have to go custom or not.

hks makes an exhaust you may have to pick it up used though, check out jgy customs for sr20 parts

And quit worrying so much about the exhaust. Get some JWT cams and an ECU. Some pulleys or something. All mods for the MOTOR are easily found. Screw the exhaust.

yeah you can pick up a universal muffler thats not too ricey and have a 2.5 cat back custom built, dont worry about your mandrel bends unless youre going turbo

You want me to ask the guy in my town where he got his neons and aftermarket wing for his sr20? :P jp

cams, put a hotshot CAI tube with the pop charger on the end, headers, if you want, it may be worth it to get head porting and valve work done, as the SR20 head isnt a spectacular flowing head(especially the low port).

you can get some forged 300zx n/a pistons(raises compression to 11:1 and requires a 1mm overbore and VERY slight modification to the small end of the rod to fit, any machine shop can do this)

if your big balla you can get the TODA SR22DE stroker kit (hahah like 8k but its so sexy)
http://www.todaracing.com/products/nissan_sr20det/engine_kit.html

then after your 11:1 SR22DE that revs to 8k is done, your exhaust can come later :p

omg, why so expensive?!?!?!? What kinda gains would you get from a kit like that? Would it just be cheaper to tubro the sr20?

omgsss meng...like 8k ? lol thats crazy, its like more for that then the whole car itself. otheriwise idk how much i would benift from having the cams. its a real possiblity, but idk if spendsing 524 or so on cams and just give the car to my brother. ill save and grab an older 96' or so sentra se-r and build that to kill things.

cheaper to turbo yes. but increase in displacement not only adds quite a bit of torque and hp at all rpm, but it allows the motor to be able to handle more hp without being a completely strung out high-rpm-only race machine.

but you want some expensive stuff...

now granted you may have to be creative as they are supposed to go into a RWD car but id bet you could get them to fit.
(btw 114 yen is about 1 dollar)

but theres parts EVERYWHERE for SR20s, you just have to look and be a little creative. almost any silvia/240sx SR20 part will fit your car, except like possibly the clutch/flywheel (not sure if they fit).

now this kid has an HKS exhaust...id call HKS, Apex'i, and other companies and ask them directly if they make one for your car

i know that hks does, but its only the muffler for about 345 or so, not the pipe from the cat like other vehicles. i think i'll prob do the universal and get custom piping. btw, how much of a gain can i see on the cams? i would go with the cams and the new valve springs on that as well. i did check that out though. apexi is univeral, no one that i kno of makes if directly for my model i should say, but for the overall sentra it should. idk if a exhaust for a spec work since every part on that car will fit unless is an engine part.

edit. i just thought of this, would i have to have an ecu tune to run the cams with the springs and adj cam gears?

copy or not its still an intake.

you dont need an ecu tune to run cams/cam gears, but a piggyback can help get more power from them.

piggy back?....

anyways i installed the Weapon R Dragon intake it looks and sounds nice.. had to move the ati sensor i put it up where the maf sits. i can feel a little bit more power in at lower rpms in all gears but 5th. it cost about 138 $ and its money well spent.. i just wish someone made a nice catback for the 2.0L

hahah 138? waste of money. my intake for my sentra cost me no more than 15$

you dont know what a piggy back is? S-AFC? thats the most common one. the V-AFC is the vtec-capable piggy back
