i had to get my ecu rebuilt and replace my isc cause they said that was the cause of my my ecu going out. now i put one on from another car but i want to check and make sure its perfectly fine before i put my ecu back in. should i use a volt meter and see what it is runing or is there another way. cause if i dont have to spend the 230 on a new one ill be really happy

Same with me. my IAC or also known as ISC is bad. how can I test another one that I want to put in if its good before I swap it. Also who has a IAC for sale :)?

I have a used throttle body but I'm unsure of the condition of the IAC.

Idle speed control servo is located on throttle body. When ignition switch is in ON position, operating sound of stepper motor should be heard over sound of idle speed control servo. If no operating sound is heard, check stepper motor circuit. If circuit is good, stepper motor or ECU is suspect.

Disconnect idle speed control servo connector and measure resistance between terminals 2 and 3. See Fig. 11 . Resistance should be 28-33 ohms at 68°F (20°C). Measure resistance between terminals 5 and 6. Resistance should be 28-33 ohms at 68°F (20°C). Measure resistance between terminals 5 and 4. Resistance should be 28-33 ohms at 68°F (20°C).
