Dash Disassembly:

Tools needed: Philips screwdriver; Torx T15 Driver; 9/32" socket, ratchet, and extension.

1. Open the glove box and remove two 9/32" / torx screws form the bottom edge of the dash cover.
2. Remove the Philips head screw from the air duct on the right side of the dash.
3. Remove the two 9/32" gold screws located in the glove box cavity.
4. Pry out the right dash side panel and remove the 9/32"/ T15 torx screw behind the panel.
5. Remove the Philips screw from the defroster duct trim on top of the dash. Then pry the trim out to remove a 9/32" screw.
6. Pry out the driver's side dash panel. Then remove the 9/32" / T15 torx screw behind the panel.
7. This is the part you must be careful with. The dash cover is held on by friction clips that you must pull out with the dash in order to remove the cover. I always start at the drivers side and work my way across the front until I get to the passenger side. Pull up (but not too hard) on the dash cover to release the clips.
8. Remove the three 9/32" /T15 Torx screws from the top edge of the instrument panel. Pull the instrument panel away from the dash to release the retaining clips (use caution like you did in Step Seven). After that disconnect the electrical connector to the right of the instrument cluster and remove the instrument panel.
9. (if you are installing a new radio) Remove the two 9/32" /T15 Torx screws that hold the factory radio to the dash. Disconnect the wiring harness and antenna cable.
10. Reassemble the dash by repeating the step backwards.
