I own a 99 gtp and im lookign for information on the different types of pullys avalable for it. Im aware the stock pully is 3.8" and i was curuius to what a smaller pully would do. Does it add more horespower down to a certain size then take away after that size. Also what would be the optimum size to add a good amout of horsepower while maintaining drivabability with all other components stock.

A smaller pulley will add horsepower and potentially a lot of it by increasing boost on the engine. You can check ZZPerformanc for pulleys also try PFYC.com and there are others. Be careful not to go too small. A 3.4 inch is about the smallest you want on a basically stock engine unless you want to go for headers a new pcm, and a host of other modifications. At a minimum if you go with a smaller size pulley you will need a cold air intake and you will need to remove the U-bend from the exhaust.
