Wow, it's like Deja Vu all over again. It looks so...familiar. It looks just like one I built had I made it for street use only.
I built this modern tribute to a Baja Beetle years ago and it was in a magazine or two and posted here. The main difference is that mine is set up for a bit more offroad duty; I almost set it lower as yours sits before I finished it. Did you see it before?

Your interpretation of Bob's version looks much like Bob's. Had you tried to make a version of his on your own? Or di dyou just freakishly come up with the same concept out of nowhere? Freaky!! Love it tho. Bob's also.

Looks really good. I like it a lot. I it surprisingly similar to Bob's, but I wouldn't be too worried. Even if his inspired you, you're not cashing in on it and selling copies. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. If it is something you came up on your own, cool. For some reason, though, I keep thinking it would look better if you kept the quarter windows in. Just a thought.

Very nice job Chippy, Nice colours and a good finish on a kit which did appear to me quite a basic kit a while back when i looked at it..You've made it look rather Ellegant..
If you dont mind me saying mate,ONLY since I did the same on my last kit..
Theres a little bit of attention which I had to sand off on the seats, as theres a little waste line which run all the way round them..
Please dont think im making fault, your kit is very nice.

Beautifully done job...but how long do you have to build a kit for before you can spell the beast correctly?
I was expecting some horrible plastic scouse mop-top! :)

Don't you mean the C3 pluriel. Both of those models are great, how long did they take you to complete?
