does anybody know how to take a door off of a 96 2 door tracker? i am working at a summer camp next week and my tracker is going to be used to haul water. last year we had a golf cart but we can't get another one. so i figure a tracker is just as good a golf cart. the doors would be a pain in the ass though, so i need to get them off. any suggestions?

If you look at the doors you can do 1 of two things... There are hinges you can tap out.. or you can take the bolts off the hinges. If you tap ou tthe hinges you need to take the lock washer off the bottom and tap out the hinge. Also be aware that the tracker doesn't have extra provisions for a side impact crash like a jeep does since the doors aren't removable.

thanks for the info. i took a long look at it yesterday and came to the came conclusion you did about the hinges and bolts. which do you think would be easier to do?

I personally think the hinges would be easier if you take the lock nut off then all you have to do is tap the hinge out with a rock.. I don't forsee the hinge popping out easily so one could take the lock nut off and leave it off. Double check the clearance of your specific hinge though. Mine are in there tight I mean like a fat chick with a G-string tight.
