Passlock Install

I have read all the forums on the passlock problem dealing with remote start systems. But I read all this after purchasing my devices... I have the remote start already installed and currently trying to install the passlock device. I have a Direct Electronics 556L Passlock I and II module. (The cut and splice type, not the 4 wire type). Does anybody know which wire to cut and splice into (the R-Code wire) and the ground refrence wire (for the R-Code). I see a few of you are knowlegable on the subject and wish I had read earlier and got the 4 wire type but I have the cut and splice type and want to make it work.
I am working on a '99 Silverado.
