I was wondering if there was a model of a 1993-1994 Toyota MR2 out there? My sis' BF has a real one and I think its so cool. So I figure if I get a model of it, I could personalize it the way I want too.

Can you help me?

I have about 13or so, models of my own, but I dont have a digital camera to show you all that I really do have them.

this is what I have,

-customized Dodge Ram VTS
-customized Chevy Silverado (tottaly bagged)
-raised Chevrolet Silverado
-raised Ford Lightning
-stock Ford Lightning
-raised Chevrolet S-10 pickup
-lowered S-10 pickup
-2 customized diecast Suburbans, they were made by sunnyside limited they have a site if you want to check it out..... (black and red)
-2 Integras
-Volkswagon Golf, just got today.....
-Mustang Convertible Lowrider
-64' Pontaic GTO
-lowered, sporty, Ranger STX ( really nice)
-orange, 98' Saleen Mustang Speedster
-custom lowrider, 64' Ford Fairlane

hopefully I will get a digital camera soon. Some of these cars are pretty ill

Fujimi makes a couple versions of the MR2. I've built the SW20 (turbo) version. Look at the bottom of the forum for the search form and type in "SW20" and look there.

:D Welcome to AF! :)

I saw that, its a nice car, Ill have to think about getting it. Is Fujimi a good brand for kits? I am also considering getting the Toyota Celica from Tamiya. I have only built one Tamiya kit so far. And it went along pretty good.

In this case, it's a moot point, since only Fujimi makes an MR2 kit. :p OTOH, there are a few general inaccuracies with the kit, but we'll all be happy to help you work through them... :D

I checked out some of the MR2's on the site. Yours is the blue one right? I like the blue color, but I would prefer a white one myself. But yours looks nice.

The MR2 i built is a pretty good kit. Everything fits together well enough. It just doesn't like being lowered, it's a bitch to do so. And painting the rear windshield.... especially when you don't have an airbrush/black spraycan... it's a real piss-off.

On the other hand, it's pretty cheap so why not go get one.

Care to share some information on that? :)

Did you use the revell-monogram silverado extended cab ck1500? I've made a custom version of that also. Theres some pics of it on my site: http://www11.brinkster.com/theninja/sg/index.html

My guess he has the X cab and by bagged meaning he either chanelled the body over the chassie, or did some serious modding to the chassie. or i just doenst have a chassie.

my Silverado is the Xcab i chopped the top and cut the roof to make into a convertible with a roll bar i removed the pointless 3rd door scratbuilt the front suspension and added styrene blocks(under the axle) to make the rear lower i plan on re doing it soon( the roll bar is crooked)

Ya, I did purchase the X-cab. It wasnt that hard to get the lowered look. All I did was put some 20's, I think on it and flipped the suspension. Im not sure if thats how I did that. But it sits nicely to the ground and looks very clean. And, no, I didnt take away the chassie. Its still attached how its supposed to be. It all fit together very well and im pleased with it.
