Hi, i'm dave, and i'm new. But i'll try my best to NOT be a noob.
On to my problem:
I have a 89 2.3 4cyl mustang. The car hardly makes any power from 1st gear, and it takes forever just to get to 20mph. The engine just doesn't try any harder when i have the pedal all the way down...It goes just as slow at half throttle as it does at full throttle. The RPM's are very slow to rev, its not like the transmission is slipping. The engine just doens't put out anything. My car doesn't have Cat Converts, so they aren't the problem. I had the fuel injectors cleaned out yesterday when i went to get the oil changed. I had the fuel filter changed today. All my fluids are fine, and my air filter is new. I'm out of ideas....Anybody have something else to check? My car isn't throwing any codes, so i'm assuming the computer is OK. Also, the car will bog down and lose power intermittantly when i'm just cruising along the highway at 45 to 55. I don't go anyfaster than that with this car, but its in no specific RPM range or gear, and from 2nd to 3rd i have to have full throttle or the damn thing just won't go! When i started it this morning, it stalled out on me twice. And it will stall out it i'm at a red light sometimes, and when it doesn't stall, it boggs really bad. My exhaust sounds horrible, on top of all that. There is also smoke coming from the exhaust manifold, thought i can't pinpoint the location, it looks like maybe its coming from a hose by the manifold. But its getting pulled inside the cabin of the car and givin me one hell of a headache if the windows aren't down. I'm sorry this is so long...any help would be insanley appreciated. Thanks,
-Dave

Nevermind. I was driving down the road and the engine caught fire and blew up. The Car caught compltetly on fire, the whole thing is gone. Oh well.
