I have a 98 LTZ and it has the dual climate control (drive passenger) hot cold. When the A/C is on and the two switches are in 'COLD" the passenger side is still hot????? but the drivers side is "COLD".
Also, I'm in AZ and its a black car to boot  can you say HOT! Any how the A/C seams to cool better when idle at a light then when driving down the road????? I have checked to make sure the belt is not slipping on the compressor, seams to be tight...
Anyhow, ANY HELP WOULD BE MUCH appreciated!!!!!!!!:grinyes:

It's probably a bad temp actuator for the passenger side. On dual climate control systems, there is one for each side. It's possible the refrigerant is low, but that will usually cause the passenger side to be cooler than the driver side due to the way the evap core is situated.

If it's the actuator, it is mounted high under the dash near the center console. It is held on by 3 screws and is operated electrically. If you can get your hand on it, as you move the temp switch, you should be able to feel it operating. Changing it will not require you to re-charge the A/C if the actuator is the issue. You'll only have to charge the A/C if the refrigerant is low. The AC-Delco part number is 15-71846, and it costs $65 at the dealer. IF you have a Delco parts store near you , trade price is $45.50.
