it is leaking beetween the transmission and the motor, what can it be???

big leak
mechanics said that he need to remove the transmission to found where exactly it is leaking....

any idea?

Check the heater core hose quick connect fitting in the intake. Common problem, they rot out from the inside, crack and start to leak. It's located on the driver's side, just below and slightly behind the thermostat housing, right where you say yours is leaking.

thanks for your answer but nah.....he did ( i did too) and it doesnt come from there .......he mentionned kinda plug or something........

It must be the freeze plug in the back of the block between the flywheel and engine, EWWWWW!!!!

IT is the frostplug,
one of them were leaking ( while there, mechanic replaced all of them : total 4)

it takes 8 hrs labor tho !!
he advise me before that it was a 6-10 hrs job.

Sounds about right on the labor charge. One of those freeze plugs is buried, and takes a while to get to.
