there summit brand i dont know if there good or not never heard or seen them so im guessing not, they are very cheap though wich is a sign of poor performance....

if the above headers are not really that good what are some good ones maybe hedman or hookers?

You sure about that horsepower figure? I've seen your vid online, and your car doesn't look like it has 500hp. Then again I was listening to you singing in the car :p

hmm get a dyno check :D i wanna see.. lol im guessing if you get rid of all the smog shit that was choking the engine you can get 300-400 hp to rear wheels easy!

as for the slow replies.. =P theres only like..20 people total on this forum (who come by a lot..)

what do you mean by all the smog shit...its a 68 400 theres not near as much electronic ect..stuff as there is on engines now days.

but yea as for my guess in horse power i may be way off but with no doubt i know its going to be atlease 400

bout 250 horse 400 poncho block

does that put out around 250 stock? or is it somewhat modified?

-------------
here is whats been done to my car
400 block bored .30 over
Speed-Pro Power Forged Pistons
Comp Cam - CS XE284H-10
Carb holley's 750cfm (4 barrel)
Edlebrock intake manifold (performer 2)
Eagle Crank shaft
Competition Cams Magnum Steel Roller Tip Rockers (1.5 ratio)
...then i replaced all the pumps ect...

so yea i really dont know what the hp going to be but i can only hope for 400..

im pretty sure after the 70's, pontiac motors were choked by the smog regulations.. (Catalytic convertors & such) which is why the engines were discontinued.. (that and the whole carb vs tpi deal)

stock is claimed to be 185 wich is underrated due to polution/insurance shit back then.. id say around 230ish stock.. 250 with my headers and full dual system, and one of those K&N extreme flow air filters lettin it breathe a hell of a lot better through the shaker.. i am really unsure of an exact number but it does sound good either way
