vertical doors

Hey just wanting to know some of your opinions on vertical door kits. Im getting my insurance check either tomorrow or monday. My passenger door got ripped off my car so when better to make the conversion then now. Also I'm getting Z3 fenders, does anyone have any other suggestions for fenders before I order them?

go invest on somthing worth while like power/handling

I know our cars look good with lambo doors, but I could find much better ways to spend 1000+ bucks. Plus, you never know what kind of kit it is until you get it....so you could just be walking into something that is gonna kick your ass in the end. If you really want them, go for it, but just a word of warning that it may be a big pain in the ass.

Yeah, I completely understand. The reason I want to go lambo is because I lose my license in 2 weeks for 90 days, and yeah during that 90 days I could get a turbo and put it on with that money, but I'm on probabtion for a year when I get my license back, so I dont want to worry about speed right now. I know if I can get it any faster I'm just going to be more tempted. But I'm still debating. I am getting the Z3 Fenders for sure though. Speaking of speed options though, what would you prefer turbo or supercharger? Because after I am off probabtion that is next, and Im still bouncing between the 2.

turbo will give you more in the end, so id go with that.

I have a friend that is making my vertical doors. I spend as little as $100 just depends on how much the hydraulics are. :grinyes: (He has made them before) I think they look cool but for $1000 or more it is not worth it. That would be one of the last things i would do for that kinda money. but if your on probation and don't want to get a ticket i would raise the appearance, lol but than again cops look for cars like that to give tickets to.

nothing wrong with putting your money in an investment account and then you can buy so much more with the interest you received on at a later time.

you might wanna check out like club3g.com and eclipseforums.org. there's always group buys going on at both places that can save you some money. I know at eclipseforums.org there's vertical lifts for $350 shipped. Quite a few have bought them and loved them. A friend of mine got them and have had no problems with them. I wanna get them as soon as I have the money, but I would never spend a grand on them either, but at $350 I'd buy them.
