3.0 engine leaking coolant

1997 Plymouth Voyager with a 3.0 I replaced the rubber o ring that goes attach to the water pipe under the engine intake manifold that attachés to the radiator hose but it is steel leaking coolant from the bottom of this pipe does any body know if it has a block seal under this pipe

Yes it does.
To replace the water pump is a real !@#%$ of a job, too. (And that's the only way to get to the block seals/gaskets.)

Before you blame the water pump totally, check to see if your thermostat fell apart. They have been known to cause an eventual hi pressure leak at the o-ring on the pipe that goes through the intake manifold.

If its anything like the 3.3L just jackup the passenger front tire..pull the noise shrowd from inside the wheel well and the water pump is right there..just take the surpentine loose, pull off the pully, and bam 5 bolts and it falls right out

The 3.0 is a whole different creature, lots more work to change the water pump. 3.3 is very easy compared to it
