tinted windows

Is it leagal to have tinted driver door windows tinted? Why I ask is I am going there and don't need a ticket for having the windows tinted. I am going to ND.

Check the state laws first.I know in the state of Michigan,any window tint that is really shiney is illegal.My neighbors's wife went through that,the cop that stopped her ticketed her for too dark window tint,it had to be removed a certain amount of days and it was not too dark.The cop was a dumby and did not read on the laws.My neighbor's wife got out of the ticket,she has migraine headaches and the window tint stayed on and this in Michigan.
