Aight, so I just got a new set of subs, which will handle about 300 RMS, but my old amp just blew, so now i get to buy a new amp, but i wanna get a mono subs amp for my 2 12's, i kno mono amps are rated at 1, but how high of an rms can i get so that it won't kill me 2 12's a 4 ohms?

The subs are Infinity Reference seris 1220w, specs handle 300 RMS and 1000 max, I've got about 300 right now ready to spend, but i could see myself spending up to 600 for the right amp/best setup

in that case..a JBL 600.1 would work well. at 1 or 2ohm with 14.4volts, this baby can crank out ~700 watts RMS, sending each your subs ~350 watts RMS. do you need full factory warranty? if so, sounddomain has it for like $300+. these amps are reliable so if you don't need warranty, ikesound.com has it for $205 with free shipping in the US.
