3000gt Vr-4 Massacre

OK, I havent been going home on lunch for a while so not much racing. I am a corporate jerk with a private office and an 8 to 5 job, I live in the city so all my driving is in town.

Well my Fiance stayed home from work Monday so I went home for lunch... On my way i passed a black riced civic. Huge fart can exhaust, aftermarket landing strip attached as a spoiler, rims worth more than the car... Well I guess he thought i was doing a ricer fly by when i was actually just trying to make a quick trip because I see him start cutting traffic to catch up. He catches up to me at a light and gives me a rev..rev..reeeeeee(help me)eev. I say what the hell might as well give this boy some act right and give him a few revs of my own, then i put the exhaust into tour mode since he now has an idea of what to listen for. With it in tour he cant really hear it and i start to blip the throttle to get the turbos spinnin and start building boost. Well light changes and Civic spins a tire and I take off at 4k rpm riding the clutch and feeling it show its stuff.

Well that was about it cause I hit passed the next light before he got half of a block and then did the standard "too ashamed to show my face turn off". Yeah i picked on the little guy, bullied him, took his candy and sent him back home to mama. Why try is my question, your mid 20's and driving a riced civic... give up man.

^^^idk either good way to teach him a quick lesson. i see these guys all the time. im just not givin the oppertunity to actually race them. they always seem to run the red lights or drive like mentioned in clawhammers how to be a street racer. with that all said, now these civics and almost every car 'with people really influenced by the south rap music' drive like they have a steering problem, swerving left to right between both lanes of the road. rather annoying since something on their car's wheel goes wrong and they hit sopmething.

It's ok to pick on the little guy when he revs first...I think some ppl just like getting beat on...nice massacre

What gets me is the people try to look like they are a "tuner" but they pull up next to a car like mine and have no idea what im pushing. I dont know every car on the road but I generally know what should be under the hood. I have been surprised by some of the cars that came factory with a turbo that i dont think should have... but I cant remember ever biting off way more than i could chew.

Maybe he's a racer who's worried about the planet =o and wants to race with something that does more than 20mpg (UK)

Where is the fun in fuel economy??? However my car does really well on the highway I went from Meridian, MS to Springfield, MO on one tank of gas. Which is somewhere in the area of 500+miles

I know right? I get 15mpg city on my car but it is totally worth it..

funny story i see this cadillac 05 deville 24" rims brand new candy paint job loud ass sound system just "swangin" in front of me, i look back real quick to see if the lane is open to move and as i do that all i hear is his tires squealing and i turn just in time to see his hit head on with a ladys older cadillac who was waiting to turn. Now, i see that lady every now and then driving a new cadillac

you know what that means....you used cruise control and did the speed limit. I did that too once. Knock it off! All you need to know is 3k in 6th gear is 100mph, and you still get 18mpg :evillol: And you get there ALOT quicker.

nice race ming, some of these guys just wanna see your car run, and when he revs first, yeah he's asking for it, i've revved at some evos, v8s, etc just to see what it can do, its kinda like praising the car if you call it that :p yeah most of these civics are slow, BUT SOME thats done right are beasts! swap, f/i, after all, they only weigh a lil over 2000 lbs, i dunno if every riced out civic where you live are racers, but around here there are racers and non-racers i guess,....some people just wanna make their car look good or "think" it looks good and try to fit in? so they want a car with good mpg, etc,.etc.,,.ming, i could go on and on, but i'll stop here!
