Exterior Handle

My daughter broke the exterior daoor handle on her 99 Accent. I checked a dealer, they are asking $61 for the handle. It doesn't seem to appear on any internet parts sites, so it looks like I'm stuck with a dealer.

Should I try one from a salvage yard, or is it woth it to buy a new one with all the neccessary clips, etc?

The dealership will probably tell you that the best way is to get one from them...

because they wan't your business. im sure junk yard would have more than enough of what you need.

Well, I can help a little. Your dealer is marking it up above list price. Without more info, or a VIN, I can't tell you exactly which one you need. Also need to know which door this is for. Even so, the most expensive one lists at $53.28, which I could do for $40, plus maybe $5 for shipping. If you can get me a VIN, and which handle you need, I can get you an exact price.

I finally found one on E-Bay. I think it was $15 + shipping. Received it yesterday, looks like an exact match. Now, the hard part, how do you get that window crank off?
