Looks shady as hell to me. Any reputable place would charge almost or about twice that. Also, its not a MHI turbo because the numbers arent cast on, theres that goofy little plate. I would stay away.

See who warranties the turbo for that 1 year.. When SBR came out with that "GTEVO3 turbo's are garbage" web page I was 100% convinced that they were a Chinese POS. Now that I've read what Turbochargers has to say, and learning more about the way they are tested and constructed... I'm glad Turboch.com is suewing SBR. They get what they desirve. Almost everyone that bought one of those cheap GT turbos are happy as hell.. Turbos will always fail. Look at PTE/Bullseye/Turbnetics.

Yeah, but some of them were held to gether with fuckin fiberglass resin. A while back I saw a picture of a few different ones that were horribly shitty quality and I can totally see why SBR would post something like that. I've also read a couple threads on knock off EvoIII's blowing after a few thousand miles. If you really want to risk something, its your choice, do it. I sure as hell wouldnt though.

Not Turbochargers.com's. Some gay ass home made GT turbo maybe. I've read so many PTE/SMC/Turbonetic failiar threads in the last couple years. Turbos will fail, even at 300 miles. Most of it is caused by incorect installs, but they do happen alot, and it's not just the cheap ones.

I read SBR's MHI vs GT thing, it didnt mention any vendors did it? The GT's were on eBay too, just because it had the same turbine housing doesnt mean it wasnt a piece of junk. I am sure that most of the problem turbos were eBay junkers, not necessarily from turbochargers.com. I still have trouble trusting a product that company X cant even put an original name on.
