carpet

Hey,
Im dynamatting my trunk and i was wondering if i just rip the carpet/trunk lining out, or if theres a special technique i need to use, i tried pulling on it a little bit, but i was afraid of damaging the carpet. Any input is appreciated, thanks!

Last time I gave mine a yank I believe besides all the wall matting that is held in by imagination and push tabs the stuff that is stuck down to the floor of the trunk is being held down by a 3Mish tack substance.

In mine it can take it all out with no problem. Just have to take the plastic thing around where the trunks closes and you can lift from there, but I dont know bout the dynomatting thing..
