SVT stands for Special Vehicle Team, theyre Fords elite group of engineers that make the Lightning, SVT Focus, Cobra R, and the "normal" Mustang Cobra. The Mustang GT is your basic Mustang, the least expensive (other than V6). The Bullitt was a special commemorative dedicated to the origianl BUllitt from the movie of the same name. It was limited edition and only came in Highland Green.
Hope this helps.

SVT is your elite team of "well we ran out of ideas lets throw on a supercharger" lol j/k don't want to start a huge debate.
Yeah Bullit has more power then a GT, not sure how much I think the engine is around 265 275 hp. Just saw a black one on the road today, pretty neat little car.

Guess what, I agree. I'd rather have all motor than just slapping on a blower. Nothing wrong with the blower, I guess its just my personal preference from driving a few big blocks here and there :D

Yeah well lets not piss off the Mustang owners now.
Out of all the Mustang types out there I think my favorite would be a tie between the Roush and the Cobra R. I like the Saleen a lot too and I actually think it has a better body styling kit then the Roush. But those side pipes on the Roush just look damn wicked.
And the Cobra R can actually pull off having a giant wing on the back and look tasteful. And again I'm a sucker for those side pipes in front of the rear tires. I did something similar with my Xtreme but they are behind the tires.

Wait a min,
Blower is the way to go. I would like to see a big block put 400hp to the ground and get 21mpg in the city, nuff said:D
Plus spark plugs are a bitch on big blocks, if I remeber correctly back in the day they had to pull the whole engine to change spark plugs, yeah BB are the way to go.

Noone said they should use big blocks. And I know of a certain 5.7L LS6 that puts out 405HP naturally aspirated and get 20MPG. But most people that buy an '03 Cobra arent looking for great fuel economy.

5.7 that is a BB?
Also most people (not all) who are looking for an 03 Cobra have limited knowledge on modifying. Heck I am not looking for great fuel economy, but that comes with the territory of making more HP.

Why are you still bringing up the big blocks? All I said was the FEEL of driving a naturally aspirated big block, thats all .
The LS6 is not a big block, its a Corvette Z06 motor.

interesting how GM never put a blower on their cars. they just dropped 'em. Guess they just don't sell. with th 03 cobra, FORD screwed the COBRA R gang. wonder if they'll build the BOSS.

The bullit is different from the GT in its different ID plates, gauges, suspension. It also has a different intake and underdrive pullies. But it only gives it 5more hp then the stock Gt, which has 260 hp. It really needs a blower. The intake swapped onto a superchrged gt will get 30 hp more then the GT stock intake. So, a n/a bullit just cant take advantage of the intake.

With the new models, beginning in 2004 1/2, Boss is reportedly building a supercharged 302 (5.0), with the n/a motor pushing 400 bhp, well, just, damn!

the new 2003 cobra is the beast! I'm not sure if guys are aware, but that Eaton roots type supercharger is capable of 16psi! Thats insane. Even more insane is that the cast iron block----can easily handle that boost-----especially since the engine has an intercooler. Hell, I'd buy the Vortech intercooler and scrap the stock one just to be on the safe side. But you get a 6 pound pulley, a chip burned by a guy who knows what he's doing, plus a bassani x-pipe, headers, an fr500 exhaust and a nice power pipe for the intake--------and forget about fellas-------that thing will plant over 500hp-----just to the rear tires!!!! There is a rumor that when Ford introduces the new 2004 cobra, that the suspension will be tweaked by none other than Kenny Brown. His suspension knowledge is wicked-----and if he actually works witht he SVT team-----that car could shame just about every manufacture. I find it hard to believe though that he would agree to work on tuning that suspension-----because it would have a negative affect on his own systems offered.

Addendum:
While the LS6 is in the Z06 motor as stated above, it is a small block. It's essentially a tweeked LS1.
