haha i mean grade 11 high school.. and dont assume this is a daddy funded project.. saved up 2 grand when i was 14 pumpin gas at petro can (i live in canada) then another few grand when i was 15 werkin as a janitor at my school for the summer.. and now i do oil changes and such at a lube centre here.. there has been some help financially from the parents but i guess thats expected.. but by no means did i get this car handed to me.. haha anyways thats my story.. so maybe ur second youngest ikey haha

I joined the forum when i got my '87 TA at 16..I'll be 18 in four months..anyway that's cool that you paid for it yourself I pretty much did the same, saved up the money to buy my '95 myself :sunglasse

hahah nicee. yeah. i tried to save up for my own too..and yeah, 76, sounds like you did a lot yourself.. damn. third youngest :( hahaha. i pretty much saved up for my own too..but it got wrecked.. (88 formula) so...with soe insurance $ + parents help, i got the SS.. hehe. i pay for everything else myself so i guess it makes up for it.. (college..etc).

it sucks, being in hawaii..most of the F-body owners are older..(not that thats bad..) but theres no one my age to go cruise with. everyone else is into imports, since theres so much asians here and all.. (im asian).

damn i wish i lived somewhere on the mainland. haha

around me and at my school there's a pretty good mix of both, you got your kids with integras and other imports (one kid has an S2000 but he doesn't exactly make his money legally :shakehead) and there's plenty of kids with muscle cars, but the thing is it's all mustangs..there are two kids in my auto class with completely modded stangs, then of the few f-bodies its all kids with V6 maro's and theres only one other kid with a '98 WS6 (but he's a jerk off anyway) whatever though I guess it just makes me unique to have the only LT1 powered car at my school :grinyes:

I had a 75 T/A 455 H.O. 4spd. Hurst, white w/brown interior and brown/gold bird. Can you say TORQUE??!!! That was about 7 years ago. I always wanted to take off the plate on the back of the shaker and turn the scoop backwards so it then would be taking in all that air. Plus it looked mean. People may have said "look, that idiot has the scoop on backwards". But I thought it would of helped w/ getting more air in the carb.
