Do you have a sunroof? It may be a plugged drain line.

could be bad windshield weather stripping, can you here a whistle noise when driving at speeds above 60 or so?

I've noticed a similar problem in my car. After a hard rain, when you turn the AC fan on, water drips in the passenger foot well. I never got it checked out. didn't seem like that big of a deal - but I'm interested to hear if there is a solution!

Pull off the plastic cowl inbetween the windshield and the hood and there will be some rubber cups pressed into the sheetmetal just above the intake opening for the blower motor. Most likely those are dried out, cracked and letting water through. You can get them at your dealer.
